I have been an owner at Vidanta for over 14 years and currently own at Grand Luxxe. This week my daughter got into a horrible accident and got a huge gash in her leg from a Paddle Board that was rented from Vidanta and had to get over 50 stitches. I reported the accident at 4:30 and the medical staff at Vidanta was so horrible that they misled me to believe that they could take care of it to find out after an hour and a half that they couldn't so they had to send me to the local hospital. I ended up paying over $1,500 USD to get my daughter medical attention. When I asked Vidanta to help recoup the cost they took zero responsibility. They said that since they contract the medical service with an outside company that they have no obligation. This is horrible customer service. Not only do they have the most aggressive sales people now they take no responsibility for the well being of their customers who pay a ridiculous amount of cash to own here. Beware of this place. Wish I never have purchased here.

Your complaint fails to establish negligence by Vida Vacations and/or Vidanta. The watersports equipment which one rents on the beach at Vidanta Resorts are operated by private contractors. Your complaint fails to establish negligence in equipment maintenance, as opposed to operator error.
